Advent of Cyber 2025

TryHackMe’s annual Advent of Cyber event is one of the most fun ways to learn cybersecurity. Each year, TryHackMe offers a plethora of prizes in addition to the amazing challenges, all set within a fun in-depth backstory.

This holiday season, we’re super excited to promote cybersecurity learning with Advent of Cyber 2025!

One thing we recommend is that if you’re new to cybersecurity or IT and are having difficulty with any of the challenges, is to slow down and HAVE FUN! The point of Advent of Cyber is to have fun while we learn new things. So try not to rush the experience in the hopes of winning a prize – the real prize is that you’re learning awesome skills and engaging with a popular platform.

Another recommendation is – don’t be afraid to post your progress or anything you’ve learned, especially on LinkedIn. LinkedIn has an amazing community of cyber practitioners and by posting, you’ll be building community as you learn. One day soon, it might even help you get a job!
